Bryan McBride Tillack, 80, passed away at the Thermopolis Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center on November 4, 2022.
He was born in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, on January 13, 1942, to Lucille (McBride) and Auburn Dietrich Tillack. He was the first son and third child of this couple. He was raised in Rosemary, Alberta, Canada. He married Sharon Glines on August 19, 1964, inCardston, Alberta, Canada LDS Temple.
Bryan spent his life as an educator, teaching elementary school. He was also a social worker who worked with foster children, teaching, guiding, training youth in various capacities.
He enjoyed riding bulls and saddle broncs for the Ricks College and BYU rodeo team, as well as camping, riding and training horses. He was very much a people person and enjoyed visiting or helping others in any way he could.
Bryan was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Lesli Michelle Layman; sisters, Theresa Tillack, Jolayne Hudson, and Lawana Fecho.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Sharon Glines Tillack; son, Cody Bryan (JoEllen) Tillack; daughters: Kelli Chantele (Kelly) Christensen, and Angela Dawn Smart; 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He will be missed by many and was loved by all who met him.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, November 12, 2022, at the Thermopolis Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with a public visitation beginning at 9 a.m. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at http://www.bryantfuneralonline.com.
