TMS girls basketball in full swing

The Thermopolis Middle School Lady Cat basketball teams have jumped right into their season with multiple games already under their belts.

Coach Ashley Cleare said, “The girls are playing hard and are showing a lot of heart. They hustle and never give up.” 

The girls’ teams have had games against Worland and Buffalo already this season.

8A score vs. Worland was 20-23 with a close loss for the Lady Cats. The score vs. Buffalo was a 11-35 loss for the Lady Cats. 

The 7th grade teams also had games against Worland and Buffalo. 7A team scores vs. Worland was a 26-11 with win for Thermopolis and vs. Buffalo was a 16-22 loss for Thermopolis.

7B scores were 25-11 with a win vs. Worland and close 19-18 win vs. Buffalo.

The girls’ have a busy season ahead of them. The 8th grade team plays Lovell at home this Thursday, 7th grade will be in Lovell on Thursday. On Saturday, 8th grade will be in Cody and 7th grade will take on Cody at home.
