Odd Fellow Gala

The Odd Fellows will hold their Glitter and Gold Gala scholarship fundraiser at the Fair Building on Saturday, November 12 from 7-10 p.m. Tickets are $20 each. The attire is formal. The event will have finger food and a dance. Shorty’s will be catering.

Event organizer Bradyn Harvey said, “The original order for the lodge used to do a winter ball, and the funds from that went to the Pioneer Home. We decided with bringing the lodge back we wanted to keep the same tradition and do a winter formal, but we’re going to do it for a scholarship.”

The Odd Fellows’ motto is “Bury the dead, visit the sick, relieve the distressed, and educate the orphan.” Harvey added, “We really want to focus on the youth.”

Tickets can be purchased at the Chamber of Commerce, Storyteller or from any Odd Fellows member.
