The Lady Cats both hosted games and traveled this past week. They started off by hosting Lovell on Thursday.
Coach Shannon Hill commented, “Our girls played so well Thursday vs. Lovell. They were fun to watch and played really well as a team. We are struggling with finishing and playing to win.”
The Lady Cats fell in three 17-25, 23-25 and 22-25.
Player highlights from the Bobcat/Bulldog game: Hanna Hill with 9 kills, 1 ace and 9 digs; Ina King with 9 kills, 4 blocks; Lexi Garrison had 24 assists and 1 ace.
On Friday the team traveled to Powell to take on Panthers.
“We struggled against Powell. Our serve/receive was not there and it was difficult to get in our rhythm. Powell is a great team and we just stepped out timid and not ready to play,” said coach Hill.
The Lady Cats fell in three 9-25, 8-25 and 15-25.
Player highlights from the Bobcat/Panther game: Ina King had 4 kills and 2 blocks; Lexi Overfield had 4 kills and Jayci Basse had 6 digs.
The Lady Cats have another busy week ahead of them. They will be hosting Worland this Friday night for senior night and pink out for breast cancer awareness. They will be on the road Saturday at Glenrock.
