Cross country teams compete at Cody

Bobcat Cross Country teams competed in Cody last Thursday.

Lady Cat Ruth Johnson was the top finisher for the varsity girls coming in ninth place with a time of 20:58.21 followed by Jayda Griffin 23:44.81, Sadie Martinez 23:45.22, Lillian Johnson 28:53.18 and Hannah Lippincott 31:27.86.

For the boys, Jadeth Elder ran the Cody course in a time of 19:02.78 followed by Jarek Jeffs 20:13.27, Jesse Rodriguez 20:29.20, Seth Needham 20:42.28 and Ty Mann 23:46.06.

Thermopolis Middle School team member times include:

Girls: Ruth Needham 15:46.50, Karsyn Ivie 17:14.48, Ava Dafoe 17:19.33, Paisley Logan 19:01.49 and Jadriene Jeffs 20:31.61

Boys: Ammon Gevas 12:35.83, Teancum Gevas 13:11.01, Orion Jenks 14:46.04, Lane Jennings 14:47.64, Christian Eplin 15:09.93, Aidan Flores 18:05.99, Stetson Moody 18:09. 69, Joel Skelton 18:24.88, James Linton 18:31.07, Nate King 19:42.94, Allen Thurman 21:24.39 and Walker Sanning 21:39.02.

The middle school team members head to Powell for conference on Friday at 2 p.m. and the high school team will also be in Powell running at 1 p.m.
