Bobcat varsity cross country team member Ruthanne Johnson, in her senior year, came in first on Friday on her home course with an impressive time of 21:40.36. Paris Barrera of Casper came in a distant second place with a time of 24:01.11.
Freshman Mercedes Martinez finished fourth with a time of 25:01.27 and freshman Lillian Johnson had a time of 30:47.98.
For the Bobcat varsity boys, freshman Jadeth Elder was the top placer coming in second with a time of 19:53.34, finishing just behind first place Maxton McCullough, a senior from Casper, who had a time of 19:26.24.
Jesse Rodriguez finished seventh with a time of 20:51.93 and Jarek Jeffs came in eighth with a time of 20:53.04. Seth Needham had a time of 22:27.75 and Joseph Crow had a time of 29:43.47.
For the Thermopolis Middle School girls team, Ruth Needham finished with a time of 15:38.32, Karsyn Ivie had a time of 16:27.07, Ava Dafoe finished with a time of 16:54.57, Paisley Logan had a time of 18:21.09 and Jadriene Jeff with a time of 20:13.36.
Ammon Gevas was the top finisher for the Thermopolis Middle School boys coming in fourth place with a time of 12:27.80. Trevin Shaffer came in fifth with a time of 12:28.70.
Finishing times for the remainder of the the TMS boys include: Teancum Gevas 13:21.88, Alec Martinez 14:59.67, Lane Jennings 15:10.71, Christian Eplin 15:39.74, Orion Jenks 15:48.65, Stetson Moody 18:17.08, Aidan Clearers 18:41.27, Allen Thurman 18:55.00, James Linton 19:56.68 and Joel Skelton 19:58.50.
