JV football squad going strong at 2-O

The Bobcats junior varsity football team has been on the road the last couple of weeks traveling to Glenrock and Lander, taking the win in both games.

The team is being coached by coach Darren Elder and coach Calder Forcella.

First up was Glenrock on Monday, Sept. 12. Coach Elder stated “We won the game against Glenrock on a defensive sack by Cruz Masscaro. Armani Dukes had two turnovers, one being an interception and one a fumble recovery.”

Offensive players of the game were Cody Bomengen, Stone Pebbles and Ethan Yarrington. On the defensive side, Armani Dukes and Cruz Masscaro.

Final score of the Glenrock game was 34-28.

Next up, the boys traveled to Lander on Monday, Sept. 19 to take on the Tigers.

The boys had some great plays and performed really well as a team. The Bobcats were able to defer several long passes that the Tigers threw but helped them hang on until the end.

Luke Dickey was out with an injury in the 4th quarter, but the team rallied and was able to beat the tigers 14-12.

The JV team will take on Worland on Monday, Sept. 26. The game will start at 5 p.m. in Worland.
