The Bobcat varsity football team hosted Mountain View in last Friday night's home game, with the Bobcats falling to the Bison with a final score of 34-14.
Coach Matt McPhie said "Roedy Farrell had a great game on both offense and defense. Farrell accounted for over 300 yards of offense. He ran the ball for 46 yards, passed for 33 yards and had 229 yards receiving on the day. Gavin Shumway had a career high in passing yards going over the 300-yard mark for the first time. Shumway completed 16 of 32 passes for 326 yards and 2 touchdowns. Del Dukes went over the 100-yard receiving mark for the 2nd game in a row. Dukes had 3 catches for 103 yards."
Farrell accounted for both of the teams two touchdowns in the game.
McPhie stated "On defense, the Bobcats were led by Roedy Farrell who completed 11 tackles including three tackles for loss. Chris and Ryan Arends each added nine tackles in the contest. Armani Dukes and Mason Reese each had eight tackles. Logan Dafoe and Armani Dukes each had a fumble recovery and Gavin Shumway had an interception."
The Bobcats host Rich County, Utah for this Fridays Homecoming game with kick off at 4 p.m.
The annual FFA dinner will be served during the game beginning at 5 p.m.
Earlier on Friday, remember to show your support for the Bobcats at the Homecoming parade downtown beginning at 10:45 a.m.
