Tickets available for annual Chamber of Commerce banquet

The 101st Annual Thermopolis-Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce Banquet is on Saturday, October 1 at the HSC Fairbuilding. 

The No-Host Cocktail Hour begins at 5:30 p.m. with One Eyed Buffalo Saloon serving, followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. catered by Black Bear Catering with the program beginning at about 7:30 p.m.  

The speaker for the evening is Mandy Fabel. Fabel has spent her career at the intersection of leadership, business, and adventure. She is passionate about helping others develop their own leadership style while breaking down the barriers that often divide.

She leads the premier professional development program in the state of Wyoming, Leadership Wyoming.

She is also an avid outdoors-woman with a passion for rock climbing, mountain biking, snowmobiling, and hunting.

During the banquet, winners will be announcing for the 2021 Business of Year, Non-Profit Organization of the Year and Citizen of the Year.

Nominees for the Business of the Year include:  Ava’s Silver & Rock Shop, Black Bear Cafe, Cell Only-Verizon, Kirby Creek Mercantile, Lazy Fox Artisan Goods, Owl Creek Graphics, Owl Creek Excavation, Range, Thermopolis Hardware & Mercantile, Thermopolis Petro & Tire, and Wyoming Whiskey.

Non-Profit Organization of the Year nominees are: Boysen State Park, Central Wyoming 4x4, Children’s Resource Center, Gottsche Rehab Center, HOPE Agency, H Diamond W Youth Camp, HSC Museum, Hot Springs State Park, HSC Recreation District, Hot Springs Health Foundation, Wyoming Pioneer Home and Wyoming Small Business Development Center.

Nominees for the Citizen of the Year are:  Nancy Brown, Jackie Dorothy, Dan Herdt, Joan & Lloyd LaFave, Jim and Tuck Mills, Leila Porath, Doris Ann Ready, Howie Samelson, Ray and Carol Shaffer, Karen Sinclair, and Cindy Toth.

There will also be “bucket items” and a grand prize auction items available.
