Town water project

The Town of Thermopolis is continuing its water project and now work begins on Richard Street between 6th and 7th Streets. It is between Mack's Market and Family Dollar/Dollar Tree, Merlin's Hideout and Kirby Creek Tannery. The water pipes underneath the surface need to be replaced due to age and the potential for leaking, which makes the soil to be very loose and unstable. When the work is finished, it will have new pipes, solid soil, and a new asphalt surface. Access to Merlin's Hideout, Kirby Creek Tannery and Family Dollar is through the alley. Look for the sign. Previously, work has been done on 8th Street and Clark Street with new water lines put in. A new surface will be done next.
