LaBeau fundraiser Saturday

A cookie jar auction fundraiser will be held for Michele LaBeau on Saturday, Aug. 27 beginning at 5:30 at the Hot Springs County Fair Building. A sloppy joe dinner with sides and dessert will be served with the auction to follow.

Michele, a Thermopolis resident and former employee of Hot Springs County School District, is battling stage 4 kidney and renal cancer. Proceeds will go to help medical expenses incurred during treatment.

Donations can be dropped off in advance at the Risen Son Church, Mon.-Thurs. from 8 a.m.-noon or at the fair building the day of the auction, starting at noon.

Contributions can also be made at Pinnacle Bank.
