Boat ramp will be closed for concert

Hot Springs State Park Superintendent Kevin Skates announced that the boat ramp in the State Park will be closed all day Thursday, August 18 to prepare for the second annual River Dance, which features the band Blackthorns who perform classic and modern rock. The music begins at 8 p.m.

The band will perform at the boat ramp parking lot. The free concert is sponsored by Steve’s Plumbing and Heating, Dairyland, and Discover Thermopolis Print Zone. Shorty’s Bar and Grill will be selling their beverages. People are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs.
