Through the sponsorship of the Thermopolis-Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce, the Culpepper & Merriweather Circus is coming to Thermopolis on Saturday, July 2 at the Hot Springs State Park located in the area across from 220 Park St. Show times will be at 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
This is a One-Ring, Big Top Circus. They are bringing their brand new 2022 performance featuring Big Cats presented by Trey Key, Aerialists Extraordinaire Simone and Kelly, 10th generation Loyal Bareback Horse Riders, the Perez Daredevil Duo on the Tightrope and Wheel of Destiny, everyone’s favorite Circus Clown Leo Acton and Brandon Ayala on the Rola Bola.
On performance day at 9:30 a.m. everyone is invited to watch the Big Top rise. You’ll also get a chance to tour the grounds, learn all about life on the road, see the animals and learn about their care and get a behind-the-scenes look at the show.
At 1 p.m. the Midway opens. You can experience pony rides, the moon bounce, the giant slide, face painting, the concession stand, and the box office open up for some extra fun.
Advance ticket prices are $12 for adults, $7 for children (2-12), or seniors (65+). Advanced tickets can be purchased before circus day at the Thermopolis-Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce, Black Bear Cafe, Storyteller and Discover Thermopolis. A percentage of advance ticket sales go back to the sponsor.
Box Office prices on Circus Day will be $15 for adults and $8 for children (2-12) or seniors (65+). Box office tickets go on sale at the circus grounds one hour before each show.
