Bobcat boys tie for first at championships

Hardy Johnson earns top spot for fourth year

The Bobcat boys golf team tied for 1st place with the Kemmerer Rangers at the Wyoming 2A Spring Championships with a total score of 717.

Hardy Johnson made it four in a row as an individual boys champion shooting a 77 and a 79 for a total of 156, followed in second by Upton's Logan Timberman with a total score of 168.

Wyatt McDermott took 3rd on the boys side with a second day personal best of 77 and a total score of 171.

Hayden Overfield tied for 13th with a 193, Seth Weyer was 15th with a 197 and Spencer Calhoun was 23rd with a 216.

Hardy, Wyatt, Hayden and Seth were Cowboy Conference top 10 finishers.

Ki Kraushaar bested her first day total on the second day to finish in the 2nd place spot in the Cowboy Conference and 17th overall shooting a 143 and a 138 for a 281 total.

This was graduating senior's Hardy and Wyatt's final tournament as Bobcats.
