The Bobcat track team competed at the Lander Invite last Tuesday and in Douglas on Saturday.
“I am really proud of our athletes and coaching staff for the improvement and success so far this year. Throws, jumps, sprints, and distance have all seen steady improvements and success. I am looking forward to the final stretch of the season as we now have kids earning spots on relay teams and finding their niche in events,” said coach Calder Forcella of the teams progress.
In Lander, the girls team earned 107.50 points and second place behind Lander with 221.50. Big Piney came in third with 106.50 points.
The boys team earned 47 points and 4th place behind Lander who came in 3rd with 137.50 points, Big Piney who was second with 145 points and first place Riverton with 188 points.

Coach Calder said, “Xoey Rich had a great week throwing, winning the lander meet in the discus, cracking the finals in lander and posting a couple big prs. This is all a testimony to how hard she has worked in practice this year.”
He added, “Seth Needham has come back string off an injury and proved he deserves to be on our relay teams.”
The team travels to Buffalo to compete on Friday.
