Women's volunteer club plans convention

The General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) Wyoming Annual Convention will be held in Thermopolis on April 29-30.

GFWC helps communities in areas such as health and wellness, child advocacy, arts and culture and the environment.

Last year, GFWC volunteers spent 19,177 hours to complete 240 projects. They also generated enough funds to donate more than $70,000 to communities.

There are no strings attached to attend the convention.
