HSC Republican Convention Saturday

The Hot Springs County Republican Party will hold its County Convention on March 19 beginning at 9 a.m. at the Annex building. The delegates and alternates will be voting and guests are welcome to attend. 

​​The Delegates and Alternates elected at the Precinct Caucus to attend the County Convention will review and debate all of the changes to County and State Platform, County and State Bylaws, and any resolutions proposed by each of the four precincts at the Precinct Caucus, which was held March 5.

The changes and resolutions adopted at the County Convention will be sent to be considered at the State Convention, which will be held May 5-7 in Sheridan. Those adopted at the State Convention are then sent for consideration by the Republican National Convention.

At the County Convention, there will be nominations and election of eight delegates, which include the County Chairman, State Committee Man, and Committee Women and 5 Alternates to attend the Wyoming State Convention. 

There were 21 attendees at the Hot Springs County Republican Party Precinct Caucus. For the elected delegates for Precinct 1 there were eight delegates, for Precinct 2 there were six delegates, for Precinct 3 there were eleven delegates and for Precinct 4 there was one delegate so far. Regarding alternatives, those people are pending appointments. The names of the delegates are withheld for privacy and security reasons.
