The Bobcat boys varsity basketball team made an impressive showing at the 3A East Regional tournament, earning a trip to the state tournament this week in Casper.
Last Thursday the boys started out by taking on Rawlins in a tough game. The Bobcats struggled and fell short of a win, 63-25.
The boys came back to the court on Friday with a strong will to win, taking on Burns and winning a hard fought battle 56-52.
On Saturday the boys played an amazing game against Wheatland pulling out a win in the final seconds with the Bobcats showing 44 points and Wheatland 43 at the buzzer.
In the Bobcats final game at regionals they were up against Buffalo for third and fourth. Thermopolis came up short of a win, 51-26, and will be seeded fourth at state.
