Bobcat wrestlers were on the road last Friday in Buffalo where they had three duals for the day.
Even though the Cats won a majority of the matches, points got the best of them and they ended up losing to Lovell by one point, 42-41. Coach Travis McDermott said “We just gave up too many weights with forfeits.”
The second dual of the day the Cats beat the defending state champion Wright Panthers 45-30. Finishing the day with a duals against Tongue River, the Bobcats again got the win 39-12.
“They wrestled well on Friday and are ready for regionals,” McDermott said about the Cats.
Individual wrestling results from Buffalo are as follows; Wyatt Mcdermott 3-0, Colter Price 3-0, Jessen Basse 2-0, Samuel Skelton 2-0, Brody Sorensen 2-1, Austin Barral 1-1, Mason Reese 1-1, Ethan Yarrington 1-1, Lance Axtell 0-1, JoJo Crow 0-1, Luke Dickey 0-1, Dalton Price 0-1, Zane Stam 0-2 and Will Ward 0-1.
