Locked on target

Big Horn Bow Hunters held a tournament on Saturday, January 8 at the HSC Fair Building. Organizer Randy Welfl said they have shoots there every Thursday night at 7 p.m. until April 28. They shoot the "450 Vegas" which is 15 rounds of three arrows. This type of archery tournament has been around since 1962. In 2000 the National Field Archery Association took over and their shoot occurs yearly in Las Vegas with over 3,000 participants. On May 21-22 there will be a Scholarship Shoot in the HSSP.
