Senior center hosts December activities

The HSC Senior Center will be having three different events in December for the Christmas season.

The senior center will be taking Christmas pictures of you and your loved ones before a beautiful Christmas backdrop on Saturday, Dec. 11, beginning at 1 p.m. at the HSC Senior Center. It’s open to the community.

There will also be a Christmas Lights Tour, on Tuesday, Dec. 21. Come to the center and enjoy soup and homemade bread before going on the bus to drive around town to look at all the beautiful lights. Soup and bread will be served at 5 p.m. at the senior center and light looking will begin at 6 p.m. The cost is $5 and is open to everyone.

Also, a Quilt Basket Raffle is being held. It’s $1 per ticket or 6 for $5. Along with the beautiful quilt, you’ll also get a goodie basket of items from the senior center. The winner will be drawn on December 23. All benefits go towards the Hot Springs County Senior Center.
