Thermopolis Team Sorting back in full swing

Thermopolis Sorting Series kicked off its 2021-22 season on Saturday.

The event was well-attended by contestants from the Big Horn Basinarea and as far away as Green River.

The Sorting Series will be held the second Saturday of every month through April 2022 at the HotSprings County Fairgrounds.

Spectators are welcome. There is no fee tocome watch. Locals are encouraged to bring a horse and participate! There are classes for every ability.

November’s results include (in order of finish):

Open Class: Brad Peil/Scott Ratliff, Brad Peil/Dawn Peil, Melissa Mosser/Scott Ratliff, Melissa Mosser/Dawn Peil and PamHaar/Brad Peil

Beginner Class: Alisa Remer from Shell won the halter.

Youth 9 & Under: 1st and 2nd Hoyt Peil

Youth 10-14: 1st and 2nd Bridger Peil

#4 Class: Amy Irene/Cheri Smith, Colleen Hansen/Kay Reese, Holly Kenison/Brett GardnerNovember

Special Class: Laurie Gardner/Kay Reese, MartyKenison/Holly Kenison
