Legislative redistricting meeting planned

A Big Horn Region Redistricting Public Meeting will be held on Thursday, Nov. 18 from 6-8 p.m. at the Worland Community Center, 1200 Culbertson.

The Big Horn Region Legislators and County Clerk Offices are holding the meeting to discuss the Region’s preferred Legislative Redistricting Plan. The Region includes Hot Springs, Big Horn, Park and Washakie Counties.

Legislative Redistricting is happening all over Wyoming. Every ten years, after the census is complete, the lines for legislative districts must be redrawn based on the census, which may have increased or decreased in numbers.

This is an opportunity for citizens of the Big Horn Region to get more information and voice their opinions regarding the Legislative Redistricting Plan.
