Olsen cookie jar auction planned

A fundraiser Cookie Jar Auction for Lauri Olsen will be held Friday, Nov. 12 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Hot Springs County Fairgrounds.

In early July, Olsen was diagnosed with Stage IV pancreatic cancer, which has metastasized to the liver. She is being treated at the Billings Clinic.

There will be a pulled pork dinner, with donations gladly accepted.

The auction includes a fully processed beef donated by Roedy Farrell and some beautiful quilts along with many other items.

Cookie jars, auction items, side dishes or desserts can be dropped off at the fairgrounds anytime after 1 p.m. on the day of the event, Nov. 12.
