Bobcats make strong showing at Cross Country State Championships

The Bobcat Cross Country team competed in the 2A Wyoming State Championships in Ethete on Saturday, Oct. 23.

Senior Hallie Martinez was the top finisher for the Lady Cats. She crossed the finished line with a time of 22:55.01, finishing 12th. Junior Ruthanne Johnson came in 14th with a time of 23:12.27, followed by sophomores, Jayda Griffin with a 25:14.17 and Elizabeth Keller with a 31:28.55.

For the bobcat boys, sophomore Jubal Wagler crossed the finish line with a time of 19:42.55 earning him 18th place. He was followed by sophomore Jesse Rodriguez with a time of 20:53.84, sophomore Seth Needham with a 20:59.21, junior Isaac Robinson with a 22:41.97 and freshman Joseph Crow with a 27:18.75.
