Elf Tree program set to begin

The Elf Tree Program is designed to help Hot Springs County families in need with a little extra in the way of Christmas gifts for their children.

Parents or guardians may sign up their children, ages birth -17 years old, Nov 1 - Dec 10 at the Department of Family Services, 403 Big Horn.

The Elf Tree will be placed at Storyteller beginning November 15 and will be taken down on December 16. Prospective Elf Tree donors may  choose Elf tags from the tree with age, gender and gift ideas for the children.

Wrapped gifts, with the Elf tag attached for identification, need to be delivered to Storyteller or the Department of Family Services by December 20.

According to Robin Mischke with the Department of Family Services, “Like last year, the pandemic and many other factors have again made this a difficult year for families and donors alike, so if someone is able to help out by selecting an Elf tag it would be greatly appreciated.” For more information, contact Mischke at 864-2158  ex. 10.
