Hot Spot Car Show features 124 entries

The Thermopolis Hot Spot Car Rally was June 19 and 20 with 124 entries being shown off by vehicle enthusiasts from around the area.

The car show was well attended by both locals and tourists. Saturday a parade of cars was held and vehicles were displayed downtown. Sunday vehicles filled Hot Springs State Park along with a number of vendors.

Winners of the Show and Shine competition include: Off Road-1972 Ford Bronco, Randy Morrison from Casper; Motorcycle-2003 Harley Davidson Softail Deuce, Gage Maser of Thermopolis; Rat Rod-1968 Volkswagen Beetle,  Scott & Wendy Lawrence from Casper;  Street Rod-1936 Ford 3 window coupe,  Randy & Lori Nissen from Worland; Truck through 1979-1953 Ford truck,  Dood Jaussaud from Thermopolis; Special interest-1940 Willys Coupe,   Ken Posey from Cody; Muscle Car-1970 Pontiac GTO,  Bob Maxwell from Casper; Vintage car through 1949-1940 Buick Special,  Steve & Laura Brown from Worland; Classic Car 50-59---1957 Ford Retractable Hardtop,  Len Cole from Nederland, Colo.; Classic car 60-69-1965 Pontiac GTO,  Ron Johnson of Thermopolis; Classic Car 70-79-1970 Pontiac GTO,  Mike Denison from LaBarge; Modern Vehicle-2016 Dodge Challenger,  Dodge Meeker from LaBarge; Peoples Choice-1969 Plymouth Roadrunner- Kenna and Julie  (In Memory of Ken Mattheus) from Worland.

In addition there was the Ted Spatol Poker Run, with 62 hands played. The winning high hand with 5 of a kind 8's was Ray Moore. The winning low hand with 10 high was Jim Olsen.
