The Wyoming Junior Rodeo Association will be holding an event in Thermppolis on June 12-13 at the Hot Springs County Fairgrounds.
All entries for the rodeo must be placed through the website at www.wjra.info and are due by Monday, June 7 at 9 p.m.
You do not have to be a member of the WJRA to enter the rodeo, but must be an 8th grader in the current school year or younger.
Events for girls include barrel racing, pole bending, goat tying, breakaway roping and team roping. Events for boys include steer riding, goat tying (junior boys only), calf tying (senior boys only), breakaway roping and team roping. Event and all around winners will receive prizes.
Volunteers and sponsors are needed for the rodeo. Admission is free to the public.
