Mickey Dean Lewis

Mickey Dean Lewis passed away April 28, 2021, in Lewiston, Idaho, after a four year battle with AML Leukemia.

He was born June 26, 1957, in Duluth, Minn., to Everett and Shirley (Brownell) Lewis. He graduated in the last 8th grade class from Arnold Elementary in Duluth in 1971. He graduated from Duluth Central High School in 1975 and from Duluth Area Vocational Technical School in 1977 with a degree in Technical Drafting. He moved to the Seattle, Wash., area in 1980.

Mickey married Sue Lablanch in 1987. Unto this union two children were born, Sasha and David. They later divorced. Mick was an avid fisherman and general outdoorsman, loving to be in the woods and mountains whenever possible. He worked in the food service industry as well as manufacturing and for building contractors in Washington state.

He is survived by brothers, Danny of Thermopolis and Grant of Fairbanks, Alaska; son, David Ralph (Tomi Simpson) Lewis of Pomeroy, Wash.; daughter, Sasha (Jeff) Pier of Spokane, Wash.; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by both parents; brothers, Edward Everett Lewis of Thermopolis and David Ralph Lewis of Everett, Wash.

Cremation has taken place and a private family celebration of life will take place at a later date, somewhere on a mountain.
