Tonn receives RMEF Founders Award

Jill Tonn, of Thermopolis, was presented the Founders by Charlie Decker this past weekend in Lander at the Red Canyon Banquet. 

Jill was a Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF) employee for over 14 years and in her time, Wyoming was the top fundraising state six times under her leadership. 

The RMEF Founders' Award purpose is to recognize the significant contribution of the RMEF Founders, Charlie Decker, Bob Munson, Dan Bull and Bill Munson, and create an RMEF Award in their honor and to capture their spirit and dedication. 

The RMEF Founder's Award is intended to recognize current and past employees for their dedication and significant contribution to the success of the Elk Foundation.

Criteria for being nominated for award include:

Past or current RMEF employee.

During their RMEF employment, this individual's contribution to the organization must have been significant with long-term positive impact for the organization.

During their RMEF employment, this individual must have been very dedicated to the success of RMEF.

Last summer, Jill was honored with the 2020 Excellence in Wildlife Conservation Award.
