Meth seized

During a traffic stop at 11:35 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 14, Thermopolis Police Officer Michael Masccarro arrested passenger Timothy M. Hoyer, 33, of Worland for having almost 14 grams of meth in his personal possession. His alleged charges are for the unlawful possession of meth, the intent to deliver and the unlawful use of a controlled substance. The amount of meth found reaches a felony charge. There was packaging alledgedly used for delivery located during the traffic stop. Police Chief Julie Mathews said, "We are finding quite a bit of a large quantity of meth for Thermopolis and we will keep the pressure on and attempt to keep meth out of our town."
