Basketball at home this weekend

The Bobcat varsity boys basketball team dropped a pair over the weekend, traveling to Newcastle on Friday for a 60-52 loss and on to Douglas, where they fell 80-51.

Both games were conference games, putting the Cats in fourth position in the Northeast 3A division with an 0-3 record. Overall, the boys are 3-8 for the season.

Comments from head coach Shane Corpening were not available at press time.

The Cats will take on Buffalo at home this Friday at 7 p.m. and Burlington on Saturday at 5 p.m.
