Complete disaster

At approximately 8 p.m. Monday night, Thermopolis Volunteer Firemen responded to a fully engulfed Las Fuentes Restaurant. The firefighters worked until late in the night extinguishing the flames that were shooting some 20-feet into the air and spreading noxious smoke throughout town. They were called back at 4 a.m. when the rafters of the building reignited. Both the State Fire Marshall and officers from the Department of Criminal Investigation were in town Tuesday morning to investigate the fire, however, at press time there was no indication of what started the blaze.
