Bobcat football awards announced

Thermopolis Bobcat Football recently announced team awards for the 2020 season.

Most Improved Player of the Year honors went to Eli McCumber.

The pair named Scout Team Players of the Year were Eli Dickey and Jessen Basse, and Hustle Player of the Year went to Elijah Skelton.

Roedy Farrell was named the Defensive Player of the Year while Remington Ferree nabbed the Offensive Player of the Year award.

Logan Cole was named Most Valuable Player of the Year.

Finishing up the local awards, Wyatt McDermott was named the LeRoy Hayes Award Recipient.

All-State and All-Conference awards have also been released by the Wyoming High School Activities Association.

Three Bobcats were named to the second team All-Conference, Adley Coyne, Wyatt McDermott and Jaxson Jensen.

Named to the first team All-Conference were Eli McCumber, Roedy Farrell, Logan Cole and Remington Ferree.

For the third year in a row, Logan Cole was named to the first team All-State.
