James P. Campbell, 89, of Shell Knob, Mo., passed away Saturday, November 14, 2020.
He was born to Leonard and Hester Carnes Campbell on July 20, 1931 in Hazard, Ky.
He was retired from the US Air Force and also a retired pilot instructor. For several years he was the Greens Keeper for the golf course and city parks in Thermopolis, Wyo. Also, at one time Jim raised and showed Old English Sheepdogs.
He is survived by sons, Ray (Cindy) Campbell of Midland, Texas, and Jay Campbell of Shell Knob, Mo.; daughter, Renee (Irun) Kiljander of Story, Wyo.; brothers, Wallace Campbell of Shell Knob, Mo., and Whitey Campbell of Cincinnati, Ohio; and several grand and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Beverly Holte Campbell; sons, Jeff, Bruce and Jimmy Campbell; brother, Walter Ray Campbell; and sister, Ruby Barham.
No services are planned at this time. Cremation has taken place.
