Reprised annual golf tourney a success

Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital Foundation, Inc. reprised its Annual Golf Tournament on August 15.

For many years, the Foundation had hosted an annual golf outing at Thermopolis Golf Course, to raise awareness of the Foundation’s Mission to support Hot Springs Memorial Hospital.

With the substantial assistance of community leaders Brad Basse and Dennis Sinclair, the Foundation was able to organize an event, which proved to be a great success.

Twelve, 4-person, teams competed in the event, twenty-eight local businesses acted as Sponsors for the Tournament, and ten volunteers helped to make the event a fun day for all concerned. The event raised more than $8,000, which will go toward the Foundation’s effort to acquire new 3D Digital Mammography equipment for Hot Springs Memorial Hospital. The Foundation plans to return the Golf Tournament to an annual event, and is already looking forward to next year.
