Watery poker run

Hot Springs County Search and Rescue held a unique poker run last Saturday on the Bighorn River. All the participants floated or paddled their kayaks and other flotation devices from point to point along the river, picking up their poker hands before the final stop at the boat ramp in Hot Springs State Park. Proceeds from the event, which was attended by lots of locals as well as out-of-towners, will help with equipment purchases and other necessities for the department.
