A 14-year-old Casper boy’s body was found Friday in the Wind River after he apparently drowned.
The boy had been reported missing from a campground in the Wind River Canyon earlier in the day. No foul play is suspected.
The Wyoming State Parks Service rangers and the Fremont County Coroner’s Office are investigating the incident.
Hot Springs County Sheriff Jerimie Kraushaar and department Chaplain Brian Johnson were called to Wind River White Water Rafting to offer mental health and spiritual comfort to employees and guests who witnessed the discovery of the body.
