Glow run planned

How about a whole new way to spend your Friday night?

Friday, September 11 the Hot Springs County High School Cross Country team will be holding a 5k Glow Run as a fundraiser for their upcoming season.

Starting at 8 p.m. from the high school parking lot directly across from the Chamber of Commerce, participants will receive a glow in the dark t-shirt and two glow sticks.

Additional fun glow stick pieces, like rings and sunglasses, will also be for sale for a dollar per item.

Cost for the run will be $20 if you would like a t-shirt and just $10 if you do not want the shirt. Kids in strollers will be free.

Masks are mandated by the health department at the start of the run, but once you have become socially distanced you may remove it.
