Kiddie parade, run/walk Saturday

If you’re looking for something fun to do with the little ones on the 4th of July, a kiddie parade will be going on in Hot Springs State Park at 10 a.m.

Decorate your strollers or wagons, let the kids decorate their bikes and parade around the main sidewalk in the park.

Meet at the parking lot by the Kiwanis shelter to join in the fun.

There will also be a free 5k run/walk earlier that morning, starting at 7:30 a.m. to avoid the heat.

These events are not associated with any organizations, but are approved by the state park for those families that are sticking around town for the holiday.
