Frank Lee Davis

Frank Lee Davis, 75, passed away on June 3, 2020, in Hospice Care in Cody Wyoming. At the time of his passing he was a resident of Thermopolis, Wyo.

He was born January 26, 1945, in Newcastle, Wyo., to Frank F. Davis and Laura M. Davis. He spent his childhood in Wyoming till he moved to Arizona. He graduated from South Mountain High in Phoenix, Ariz., with honors.

In 1963 he joined the United States Navy. He spent 20 years in the Navy which let him travel all over the world. During this time, he did a tour in Vietnam. He retired from the Navy in 1983 in Honolulu, Hawaii, as a Master Chief Gunners Mate.

He is survived by his sisters, Pat Heatly of Hickory Tavern, S.C., and Rhonda Jones from Goodyear, Ariz.; children, Frank V. Davis of Thermopolis, Wyo., and Nicole M. Davis of PT Marion, Pa.; 5 grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was proceeded in death by his father Frank F. Davis; mother, Laura M. Davis; and sister, Sharon K Bahmer.

He was cremated in Cody, Wyo., and his resting place will be at Monument Hill Cemetery in Thermopolis. Services will be Friday, June 12 at 2 p.m. at Monument Hill Cemetery.
