The H♦W Youth Camp will be holding the “Diamond In the Rough Golf Tournament”, Saturday, June 6 at 1 p.m. at the Green Hills Golf Course in Worland. The tournament format is an 18-hole scramble that consists of 4 person teams of either men, women or mixed teams. Entry fees are $100 per player which includes: green fees, cart rental, mulligan package, dinner and awards.
The purpose of the “Diamond In The Rough Golf Tournament” is to raise matching money for a Daniels Fund Grant the H♦W Youth Camp board received to make improvements at the camp. To satisfy one part of this Grant, the H♦W Youth Camp board needs to raise matching funds of $80,000. Currently, our fundraising efforts have brought us just a little over halfway to achieving this goal.
The H♦W Youth Camp provides a one-of-a-kind experience for all ages as it is nestled up the Grass Creek Road near the base of the Absaroka Range.
The Wyoming State 4-H Foundation will be sponsoring a $25,000.00 Hole-In-One prize. There will be 4 par three jackpots as well as a putting jackpot that contestants can buy into. Drawings for several nice prizes will be held during the awards ceremony.
