The 37th Annual WYO Quarter Horse sale was held at the Hot Springs County Fairgrounds last weekend.
The crowd included buyers representing 16 different states. Superior Livestock did a video stream over the internet and took bids. Twenty horses were sold with Superior Livestock video.
Carol Smith, the sales event organizer said Superior Livestock's video stream was, "Very helpful because some didn't want to physically come to the sale. It was a very good move on their part. A lot of people came and supported the town. It was a very good active buyers crowd. They came to buy, not just look."
The average of 37 geldings was $19,074. The eight two-year-olds averaged $6312. Two 2-year-old stallions averaged at $36,100. The high sell stallion, lot 28, "Wyo Scottish Blue" was bought for $45,000 and is staying in Wyoming.
