Community blood drive scheduled

On Monday, May 4, Hot Springs County Hospital Auxiliary in conjunction with the United Blood Service from Billings, will be holding a Community Blood Drive.

This specific Blood Drive will have changes due to the COVID-19. The drive will be held at the County Fair Building, 627 Springview Street, and the donation times will be 2-6:15 p.m. Due to the social distancing policy in place, this drive will be by appointment only.

Appointments can be made by going to Bloodhero.com/ or Vitalant.org and use sponsor code:thermopolis. You may also call the drive Coordinator Melene Mierzejewski at 307-240-1414 for an appointment or questions about the drive.

All donors are asked to complete their FastTrack on the day of the drive and bring it with them. If for some reason this blood drive needs to be canceled, you will be contacted by the coordinator or United Blood Service.

They want to give a huge thank you to our generous donors for supporting our community blood drives and this life saving procedure. Grateful that during these times of uncertainty that one donation can help save up to three lives. Even though we are not trained medical professionals we can make a positive impact on others.
