Cheryl Shero and the Gottsche Board of Directors invite you to attend an Open House for their newly renovated facility on March 24 from 2-6 p.m. at 148 E Arapahoe. Hors d’oeuvres will be provided by 148 Bistro.
The renovation has taken around two years to complete with a cost of approximately $6 million for the upgrades. Shero wants the people to know that the funding did not come from taxpayers but from non-profit. She highlighted that the Daniel’s Fund gave $500,000 to the renovation.
The entire patient side was a complete renovation from bottom to top. Walls were gutted and everything is state-of-the art. The visitor’s room, the doctor’s outpatient rooms, are all brand new.
Also, the therapy equipment, newly purchased, is the state-of-the art.
Not only were there new rooms built, but the Gottsche Center now has a Bistro food court. It is open to the public, for guests and patients. Chef Krista Raymond heads the Bistro with her menu and leadership.
The new features not only still provide services such as physical or occupational therapy, wellness and massage, but there are also new conference rooms for community meetings to reserve. Shero wants the public to know that these meeting rooms would be great for luncheons for any organization or community event.
For the Open House, Shero said she’d like people to come and view it. She said she is quite proud of the entirely new look of Gottsche. Shero said, “There is artwork showcased by local talents and the feedback has been remarkable.”
