Making the Best Better, a history of 4-H and Extension Service in Hot Springs County, will be presented on Saturday, March 14 at 2 p.m. at the Hot Springs County Museum and Cultural Center.
The program will feature the H Diamond W Youth Camp and the new face lift coming to the camp.
In 1914, University of Wyoming reached out into rural communities to help educate and demonstrate modern practices for Wyoming citizens.
Ray Shaffer will present the prominent role Extension has played in this county, whether through 4-H, Extension clubs, Farm Bureau, County Fairs or a meriad of other influences. The Extension Service has been an influential presence in Hot Springs County for over 100 years.
