Sherry Ann Taylor

Sherry Ann Taylor, 62, of Ione, Calif., formerly of Thermopolis, passed away surrounded by her family on January 15, 2020.

Sherry was born in Texarkana, Ark., on April 11, 1957.

She loved spending time in nature. She loved planting and watching things grow. She loved music and her family. Most importantly though, she loved God.

Sherry is survived by her daughter, Melinda (Aaron) Ready of Ione, Calif.; son, David (Hannah) Hooker of Pioneer, Calif.; grandchildren, Aaron, Clara, Dawson, Katie, and Justin; brother, Marion Carlstead of Texarkana, Texas; and Mike Carlstead of DeQueen, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her son, Justin Hooker; and many loved ones.

A Celebration of Life will be held on February 8 at 4 p.m. at the Generation Life Church in Sutter Creek, California.
