The Hot Springs County Senior Citizens Center announced that their popular Hobby Night classes, The Thermopolis Writers League and the Jewelry Making class will not be meeting again in 2019 but will resume in early January 2020.
The writers mash will have their next meeting on January 7 at 1 p.m. at the center and the jewelry bunch will get together on the evening of January 9 at 7 p.m., again, at the center.
While designed for the senior members of the center, the events are open to the public and anyone of any age with an interest in either writing or jewelry making is invited to participate.
The clubs and classes are free with your own materials the only expense. For further information, check with Dick Hall on the writer’s group and Lee Campbell about jewelry making.
These two groups are the initial results of the Center’s program entitled Hobby Nights. The general idea is to attract Hot Springs County residents that may be interested in either sharing their love for their hobby with those that might be interested in leaning more about a particular hobby field. Whether teaching or learning, you are cordially invited to participate.
