Final adult volleyball games approaching

This week marks the last playoff games for the Hot Springs Recreation District’s Adult Co-ed Volleyball League, before the league championship on Nov. 20.

During matches on Nov. 6, Kikyapunkas was victorious over Lord Have MRSA, 25-13 and 25-15, but fell to How I Set Your Mother later in the evening, 25-16 and 25-13.

2 Legit 2 Hit won a couple tight games against Gassed by Gottsche, 26-24 and 29-27. But Gassed wasn’t done for the night, and took down Beavis and Bumphead in a three-game set. Gassed took the first game with a 25-14, but lost the second to Beavis, 25-20, before securing the win with a 25-10 win in the third round.

Games for the final playoff night, Nov. 13, included the undefeated Owl Creek against 2 Legit and How I Set against Gassed. The loser of the Owl Creek/2Legit match, and the winner between How I Set and Gassed, will face off in the final game of the night.

Those looking for some entertainment, while cheering on these teams in their last games, can see them in action Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m., at the high school gym.
