Thermopolis Middle School’s girls basketball teams played Buffalo last Saturday with mixed results.
The only team to come out with a win for the day was the seventh grade B team.
“They were our only team to walk away with a win,” said head coach Ashley Cleare. “I would say the game were a good learning experience for us all, coaches included. We were able to identify the areas we need to work on as individuals and as a team.”
Cleare added that even though the 7A, 8A and 8B teams lost, the girls showed a lot of heart and never gave up.
High scorers against Buffalo were Grayce Sharp for 7A, Jayssie Owsley for the 7B team, Kayah Oliver for 8A and Kadence Bowman for the 8B team.
The next couple of chances to see the young Bobcats in action will be this Friday at 3 p.m. when the eighth grade AB teams play at home against Lovell and the seventh grade AB teams play in Lovell. They will be back on the courts on Saturday at 9 a.m. with the 7AB in Worland and 8AB at home.
